3. What do we need to do to take all practical steps and ensure that what? Provide a safe working environment, provide procedures for dealing with emergencies, provide facilities for staff that include toilets and rest rooms also first-aid facilities.
4. What are the students duties? Taking responsibility for your own safety and health at work, ensuring that your action or inaction does not harm others, wear all ppe that is provided when required for specific tasks.

What can you do to know the dangers and how to avoid them? you must be adequately trained and supervised on the specific machine before you are deemed competent to operate the machine,know the safe work method for each operation (refer SOP) any hazards you may be exposed to must be explained and the correct procedures to avoid dangers, read and acquaint yourself with the safe operating procedures (SOP), know the dangers and how to avoid them there may be trapping points exposed moving parts (e.g tail lifter trolley jack) or other hazards which can cause injury, know the position of emergency stops, you will be required to demonstrate your competency in the use of any or all machines you are expected to use to the satisfaction of your competent trainer.
